Gibson provides high-quality performances, hands-on workshops, master classes with guest

artists, corporate programming, and targeted classes. Our mission is to use artistic expression to

contend with cultural diversity in an ever-changing world.

Libation remains a constant flow in preserving African drum and dance while cultivating

intentional relationships that affirm and impart strength across cultures. All Libation events

feature interactive presentations showcasing traditional attire, live drumming, dancing, and audience participation. Participants will learn rhythms, songs, stories, and history.

Libation proudly offers programs filled with physical activity, lively drumming, and meaningful cultural connections that bring our community together with joy.

• Workshops and residencies can range from one to four days, offering exciting, focused exploration of a particular rhythm. They’re designed to quickly and interactively introduce new material, foster cultural immersion, or simply offer a fun, short experience you’ll enjoy and remember.

• Classes last for months and are designed to guide you through a well-organized learning journey.

• Team Building is a fun one-day event filled with engaging activities designed to strengthen bonds, improve communication, and lift everyone’s spirits through shared physical movement. These activities include “mirroring”, team choreography, or ice breaker dance-offs, creating a lively and connective experience for everyone involved.
